Joop Boerstoel (NL) chosen as president-elect WASBE.
During the 20th WASBE Conference, which took place from July 16-20, 2024 in Gwangju (Seoul), South Korea, Dutchman Joop Boerstoel was elected “President-Elect” for the period 2024-2026. After the 2026 conference, the location of which will be announced as soon as possible, Boerstoel, as president, will lead this global nonprofit organization toward the 2028 conference. Boerstoel will then succeed Argentine/French president Miguel Etchegoncelay, who in turn succeeded Canadian-born Colleen Richardson in Gwangju.
